About KBR Design

KBR Design, Inc., a kitchen & bath design studio located in Bernardston, Massachusetts was the longtime dream of owner/designer Rich Eckler, who previously spent many years performing design work for a local lumber yard before opening his own business in May of 2015.

After purchasing the former Country Oil office property at 108 Northfield Road, Rich and his family spent the better part of two months remodeling the old bank/office space into a small, yet unique and welcoming Kitchen and Bath showroom.

Rich is very well respected in the area for his designs and for his passion for customer service and customer loyalty. Rich has long standing ties with many of the local contractors, and has completed hundreds of projects throughout the Pioneer Valley, Amherst, Hadley, Cape Cod, Boston, Connecticut, Vermont and New Hampshire.

I truly enjoy working with customers, and having the opportunity to assist them with something as rewarding as the design of a new or existing kitchen, bath or office space, is simply satisfying and fun!

While finding the right location for the business was extremely important, equally important was having the right product lines to offer, and Rich went to great lengths to assure he had quality products that he could offer for fair prices and that would allow him the freedom to be creative in his designs.
